The other thing going on Sunday night was that all of a sudden, we could hear rushing water under the house, and there was no hot water available. So dad and I wandered around looking for it, inside and out. I am reading and collating a ton of stuff about the flooding, because, as I told Xatharine, I can actualy make a difference for the small community I am reporting for. Sometimes I wonder if I could have toughed out journalism, but then I remember that I like eating and affording kids.
